Wayne State hired former running back Joe Gough for its radio broadcasts, on which he will join play-by-play announcer Matt Williamson. Gough earned four letters for WSU (1991-1994), setting an NCAA Division II record for rushing attempts in a season. Wayne State games are broadcast by WDTK-AM (1400) and on the Internet (wdtkam.com). The Warriors begin their 2005 season versus Northwood at noon Sept. 3 at Adams Field.
